OCC Oh the Flowers

Good morning, and Happy Saturday! Today I'm here with the next fun challenge at Our Creative Corner. Our hostess, Kristin, is bringing us some more lovely inspiration from Copenhagen:

The only catch is that you CANNOT include any flowers on your project.

I made a simple and sweet card, drawing my colors from the photo collage above. I also embossed the pink strip with that embossing folder that looks like sticks. Hopefully you can see the texture in my photos. That folder reminded me of the stems of flowers.

The white piece on the bottom with the label shape is a scrap from when I needed a die cut label. I always save my scraps. Actually, now that I think of it, that bird (which I popped up with foam tape) is also a scrap! It's from this card, and apparently has been sitting on my craft table since May!
(layout from this week's CPS)

I sure hope you join us for our challenge this week at Our Creative Corner!

  8. what a gorgeous card! and I too keep my negatives/positives from die cuts. Because you never know when you will need one! Love the dry embossed stems on the pink piece. Very clever and creative! glad you are staying on for another 6 months. I really love working with you!
