Avery Elle Guest!!

(for my CSS post, please scroll down!!)

Ooooh man oh man...I am so excited!  I am a guest designer this month at Avery Elle!   I adore their stamps because they have such amazing and fresh designs,  and this month's release is no exception.

My card uses stamps and dies called "Modern Leaves."  These were designed by my pal JJ, and I know I'll be using them a lot!

I die cut 4 leaves, cut them each in half, then re-assembled them to create this "flower."  I also added some decorative tape, woodgrain paper, and enamel dots.

You'll definitely want to hop around to see what everyone else has made. Here's the hop order, and a special message from Avery Elle:

Avery Elle is turning one year old in June so this is a very special month for us.  We will be hosting fun activities on the blog throughout the month for all to enjoy.   To kick off the festivities, every stamp order placed through our website, www.averyelle.com, between now and June 30th will receive our Party Animal mini set for free (limit one set per customer)!  We are so excited to celebrate with you!!

CSS Bonus Day!

It’s been three years since the Clear and Simple Stamps Daily app first made an appearance on the crafting scene. Each day the app features a brand new project complete with instructions and photos. You can save to your favorites for quick reference, and search through previous months for even more inspiration.

In celebration of the CSS Daily App, we have 25 Days of inspiration. That’s right we are bringing the App to the blog! Each day the design team will feature fun projects and for an added bonus we will have a coordinating project on the app – it’s a great way to see even more fab inspiration using your Clear and Simple Stamps.

The 25 days are done, but today is a bonus day!!  :)  If you would like to see a recap of this month's inspiration, please visit the CSS Pinterest board HERE.

My card uses the CSS Burst dies, cloud dies, and comic stamp to create my interpretation of Roy Lichtenstein's "Explosion."

Want to see another Lichtenstein inspired card?  Well, you'll have to go to the CSS App for that:

Today my project is inspired by Boston.  I love the CSS Party Favor dies, and I wanted a way to personalize them.  I started by printing out the Boston skyline onto white cardstock, then die cutting the box lid:

The thought of making photo boxes opens up so many possibilities for unique gifts and favors!  I would love to throw a bridal shower and include favor boxes with a photo of the engaged couple on top.  Is anyone getting married?

My CSS App project today is also inspired by Boston.  I'll bet some of you (especially Jingle!) can check out the sneak below and figure out what I was inspired by!!  :)
