for a special Mother-to-be

A close friend of mine recently found out she is pregnant. I decided to get ahead of the game, and make her a baby shower card now, so I don't forget to do it later! I know my last few cards have included purples...not sure why I'm on a purple kick right now, but I really like it! I think spring is on the brain (although today I had recess duty at work and was FROZEN- I can't wait til things warm up!)

I paper-pieced the flowers the added a gradient of embroidery floss below it, from purple to a nice rich blue. I'm linking this up for the DT call at SP and Company. I only recently found their shop, and it looks like there are some great goodies over there, including some awesome exclusive stamps. I especially love this set. You should check it out!
