Matchbook Notebook

This morning I made a small matchbook-style notebook for the Moxie Fab World Little Gifts challenge. I took some patterned cardstock and folded it into the matchbook shape. I cut a bunch of sheets of plain printer paper to fit on the inside, and stitched everything together across the bottom.

I needed to use my heavy-duty needle and thread to get through all of the layers, and even with that, I was a little scared of breaking the needle. I embellished the front simply with a decorative frame and the initials of the recipient.

I'm also linking up for the Etsy Inspired Challenge. The paper reminds me of this pink and white trim from Creating is Fun's shop!
