OCC Au Natural with a twist

This week, Linda is our wonderful host over at Our Creative Corner. Her challenge is to make a card au natural (light neutrals).....but with a twist- to add lace and buttons.

My card focuses on white and grey, with only a few hints of black. For the layout/design of the card, I was inspired by Sarah Martina Parker's sample at CASE Study. You should go check it out- it's amazing!

I embossed the white panel with a folder I just recently ordered online- I really like the look of it and will probably be using it a lot! In my button collection I have used buttons, as well as vintage ones from my grandma. For this card, I used the old ones. The only button that seems to look out of place in the pic below is the silver one- in real life it looks a lot lighter and shinier (I'm not sure why it photographed so dark). Here it is:

I sure hope you play along with our challenge this week, and make sure you link it up at Our Creative Corner!
