Awesome CASE study challenge!

I was so excited when I saw the challenge this week for CASE Study - to CASE another challenge participant! This is so cool on so many levels.
-it encourages you to snoop around on the awesome blogs of the CASE study readers
-it's fun
-someone may CASE you!
(I was beyond psyched when I saw that Cristina chose one of my cards)

I decided to go with a card by Tenia Nelson (hi Tenia!) Look how simple, beautiful, and striking her card is:

I love the houndstooth, the wrapped twine with bow, the rhinestones, the label shape, and the font with all lower-case letters. (I also love that gorgeous flower, but chose to leave it out to make my card a little simpler)

Here's my take on Tenia's card:



Today is my parents' wedding anniversary, and I can't wait to give them this card tomorrow when my husband and I see them! We live in MA and they live on Long Island, so occasionally we meet half-way at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. (I totally rock at the penny slots!)
