My Thoughts Exactly October Release

My Thoughts Exactly Halloween Stamp Release

I'm so excited to share this month's My Thoughts Exactly release! There are 2 Halloween stamp sets out today, and as always, there are so many awesome sentiment combinations.

My first card uses stamps from "Fright Night Phrases."

I die cut a piece of balsa wood, and stamped onto it before adhering it to the top panel. I also die cut the witch to reveal the orangey-yellow paper below. Check it out:

Fun sentiment, huh?

I used stamps from the "Ghostly Greetings" set to make my other 2 cards.

The cauldron is embossed in white, and I was so excited to stamp it onto the black doily! I thought it was cute and a tad spooky at the same time! (btw, it's not a real doily...I die cut it)
I love the good witch/bad witch sentiment too! There is a question mark in the set, although I didn't use it since I already had centered the stamp on the orange cardstock. I didn't want to throw off the balance!

So glad you were able to stop by. Here's the lineup for the hop, so you can visit everyone and see their amazing projects!

What was your favorite Halloween costume?

I get dressed up every year, and my favorite costumes were actually the ones I made myself in college and as an adult. Some highlights: Dana from Ghostbusters, but when she was possessed by Zuul; Leela from Futurama, Slash from Guns N Roses (I have a realllly funny pic of me in that costume), Peg Bundy. I still need to come up with a costume for this year....

  2. Great cards! Love the first one especially.

My fave costume has to be either my Wonder Woman costume or my Luchador (Mexican wrestler) costume. Umm, they are both costumes I wore in very recent Halloweens. :)

  3. Like every other girl in kindergarten (yes, I'm that old) in 1979 - Princess Leia. That was my favorite because my hair was so long my mom actually made the buns and my gram made her silver necklace out of paper clips and foil. LOL

  9. I had a couple of years in elementary school where I was a "punk rocker" which really just meant a side ponytail, glitter and lots of blue eye shadow :)

Then in the last few years, there were 2 Halloweens where I was pregnant, so I had a pumpkin belly costume I made with orange fabric and felt.
