Don't zoom in

I'm back tonight with another card for Clean and Simple Card Making.  Laura was the guest today, and she always has me swooning over her plaid cards!  Since I don't have an adequate stripe stamp I made my own by cutting a strip of craft foam and mounting it to my acrylic block with double sided tape.  It worked....temporarily!

Sadly the edges were not crisp, and the foam started to get yucky from the repeated inking and cleaning.  So (just as my title recommends), don't zoom in!  This is one of those cards that looks best when viewed from afar- or while squinting, lol.

I know it's not that bad, but I had higher hopes for this one.  I really love the design so I'll revisit it once I purchase that PTI stripes set I've had my eye on :)

  7. Well, since you told me not to, of course I zoomed! And it looks just as fantastic up close as it does from afar. :-) I can't wait to see what you come up with once you have a "real" stripe stamp!

  11. You are so funny. I still think it's very interesting. It is so striking with the colors you chose. And it's quite brilliant, very outside the box.

  13. Looks pretty fabulous to me! I have yet to attempt a plaid card because I'm sure it would end up a muddy mess, but this is so inspiring!
