Shades of Mardi Gras

Happy Mardi Gras!  (I say with a confident tone, even though I have never celebrated the holiday!)

Today the girls at Clear and Simple Stamps are celebrating with color:  purple, green, gold, and neutrals.

The first card uses the cute new mini envelope die- I used vellum so you can see the fun confetti!

The window was created by cutting the edger die twice.  I threaded some of the confetti (cut with a hole punch) to make a pseudo abacus.

Don't forget to visit the rest of the DT!!

  7. Helau to you too! Glad the "fifth season" as they call it here in Germany is over. The abacus - brilliant. I'm already alerting you I'll probably be doing this with sequins...
