I am in LOVE with the inspiration picture for this week's Runway Inspired Challenge. This girl looks so cute, yet fashionable, don't you think?



I love the layered t-shirts, the shoes that look like taxi cabs, the black and white stripes, and the short yellow skirt.  Here's what I came up with:


I used computer paper on top of the striped background so that you can see through it a bit- just like how you can see through the white shirt to the stripes beneath in the inspiration photo.  I tried vellum first, but it was wayyyy too translucent.

I think the DT outdid themselves this time...you will be impressed with their contributions! (well, hopefully you're always impressed, right?):

    So you used copy paper! Even though I mentioned it in my blog, I didn't actually try it...probably should have!
    Love this card Jennifer! The bird is so cute, and you trimmed it very nicely. This card has an awesome design and the perfect balance of colors!

    WOW! I didn't know computer paper was thin enough to still be able to see the stripes! I thought it was vellum for sure!

    Ha! I noticed the translucency of the t-shirt too and wondered if copy paper would work - great card. Love the touch of fun with the pink beak!
