Oh yeah- one more thing! Online Card Classes is having a flash sale this weekend! This is the first time OCC has done this, and you have no idea when it will happen again- so take advantage while you can! It's a great opportunity to try out some of the classes you may have missed! Here are my favorites:
- Watercolor for Card Makers - my absolute favorite because I was a headlining teacher alongside Jennifer and Kristina!
- Insider - super clever ideas for making the inside of your card as important as the outside!
- Pattern Play - patterned paper freaks me out a bit, and this class helped me get more comfortable with it!
Although those are my faves, they are all amazing!
I try to be conservative when buying new stamps... I really have to love it! I have been stamping for over 25 years so I have quite a good variety of stamps! Finding more ways to use the ones I have sounds awesome.... the class sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI'm picky about which stamps I actually buy but there are so many I'd love to have. Although a lot of my stamps I haven't used yet so I should get on that :D
ReplyDeleteI try to be good about my stamp purposes, but there are so many great ones out there my list is always miles long. I definitely try and get lots of use out of the ones I have though.
ReplyDeleteI'm guilty of buying more than I should.... But I definitely find multiple ways to use my favorite sets!
ReplyDeleteUmmm...I'm so guilty of having tons a new stamps that I don't use! I tend to buy new stamps all the time! Sometimes I have ideas to use them for one thing and then I can't seem to use them again for something else..
ReplyDeleteI'm a stamp aholic. I love stamps, always think I have enough then new ones come out and I have to buy more. I havent used all my stamps, still have a basket with NBUS so am really trying hard to look at whatI have a use that instead of buying. Love it when I see an old stamp being used in a current post as it reminds me how much I loved them in the first place.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great stamps out there that I often can't resist to buy new stuff. But sometimes I love to go back to the old ones. That's why I would love to win a spot to this upcoming class to see what I can do with the stamps I already have. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI buy a lot of new stamps! =/
ReplyDeleteI have very few stamps an rarely buy as I am not much into stamping ,but yes I do try to use them to max !I took the OCC for watercolors and I loved it so much and learned a lot..so no doubt this class is going to be Awesome too,Thanks for chance !
ReplyDeleteYay for another class. I'm guilty of buying more stamps than I need, partly because designers are so brilliant at showcasing them during release time, but also because I need to buy all my supplies overseas (I live on the Greek island of Crete), so I'm buying in bulk so as to avoid excessive shipping costs.
ReplyDeleteHurray! I loved the watercolor class; it taught me so much. I am sure this one will be as awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love pulling out my older stamp sets but I have to be honest and say that I mostly buy new ones. Would love to learn new ways to use older stamps.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so excited for this class. I took the first one and loved it this was going to be even better. Would love to win a spot thank you
ReplyDeleteA little bit of both but I am trying to be better about using what I have!
ReplyDeleteI tend to buy new stamps. I'd love to learn how to get more out of my stamp stash. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this class. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI try to use the stamps I own but just can't resist buying new stamps. The birth of a grandson has inspired me to buy more boy-themed stamps.
ReplyDeleteI buy way too many new stamps. I need to take this class and hope that I would do a better job of using my existing stamps in different ways.
ReplyDeleteI tend to buy new stamps all the time, whether I need them or not. Because I now someday I will use them!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere's always so many great stamps being released that I would like to buy but the budget just won't allow it. I try to buy stamps that I really love or can use in multiple ways.
ReplyDeleteI think both. I do have favorite stamps I continually use, but love to get new ones to try new techniques.
ReplyDeleteI restrict myself from buying a lot of new stamps and try to find some inspirations from diff designers on how to use them differently.. I would love to win a spot, thanks for the chance...
ReplyDeleteI'm new on this hobby. I only have some Christmas stamps and would love to take this class and the advice to purchase my first set of stamps.
ReplyDeleteI used to purchase stamps that I just loved, but now I try to purchase sets that I love AND that are versatile. Can't wait to see your contribution to this class!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win a spot in the class! I had to laugh out loud at your question...I am totally the first part, ALWAYS buying new stamps. Hoping that taking this class will help me use what I have in new ways to cut down on the spending!
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for ways to use the stamps that I have and try to cut back on too many new purchases.
ReplyDeleteI have just started card making, so I have only one stamp set, which I love lots, but I'm definitely going to purchase a few more ^^
ReplyDeleteohh thanks for the chance to win a spot. THIS is a much needed class! I have tons of background stamps and inchie stamps that are just catching dust and it's sad because they are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love buying new stamps, not a lot but once in a while, add some for my supply. I find way to use my stamps in other way as I cannot buy all new stamps that are being released by my favorite manufacturers. I try to stamp, paper piece, or use them as background and others
ReplyDeleteI go in cycles of buying new, let it fade into obscurity, then pulling it out again. I guess that makes me both an old and a new girl.
ReplyDeleteI go in cycles of buying new, let it fade into obscurity, then pulling it out again. I guess that makes me both an old and a new girl.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely both! I have a lot of stamps that I haven't used (enough) but that I still love and don't want to give away. But then the stamp companies always come out with new designs that I want!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great stamp class. thank you for a chance to win
ReplyDeleteUntil recently I tended to buy a lot of new stamps (because a lot of wonderful releases). But now I understand that have TOO many and have no time to "process" them. And to store them. So now I more go with the second.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving away a spot! Love these classes!

ReplyDeleteI buy waaaay to many (due to talent like yours). The PTI monthly moments line is really getting be stamping and scrapping. I have busted out some great oldies for that one and it has felt wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I am totally addicted to stamps and probably need some treatment. Even though I am always buying new stamps, I do try to use them in different ways.
ReplyDeleteLoved the last Watercolor class. Would love to win a spot in this one. Thank you for the chance.
Wow! This is going to be an awesome class! I would love to be able to take part!
ReplyDeleteI am fairly picky about buying new stamps. I love to find ways to use the ones I have.

ReplyDeleteI took the online watercolor class and will NEVER forget the hummingbird you colored to Debussy's music! It captured me like none other. Now I love the wedding card you just did. And I desperately want to win the spot for the stretch your stamps class. I am very judicious with buying stamps; I have to love it. So using old ones is essential. Please choose me!!
ReplyDeletehave taken many of these classes and every one has such great new ideas - happy to see you as one of the instructors again - thanks.
ReplyDeleteA little of both. I try to be economical but sometimes my emotions take over. Ha ha

ReplyDeleteI have been stamping for nearly 20 years so I have a lot of stamps. I try not to buy every stamp I see but some are so unique or just so beautiful, funny or sweet that I can't resist.
ReplyDeleteI probably do a bit of both. I love buying new stamps, but they are a bit expensive and at some point you run out of space! I would love to learn how to get some new uses out of some of my old stamps! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, I'm not buying new stamps. One of my dearest friends just gave me all her stamping stuff because she's busy with 2 little ones at home. So, I'm enjoying her stuff! :)
ReplyDeleteWhy yes, I do have a ton of stamps...Love to win a ticket into this class!
ReplyDeletethe 1st Stretch Your Stamp class was great! thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a "buy it because some showcased it wonderfully on a project" type stamp collector...which puts me in a rut for how to use it creatively myself. I can't wait for this class to begin and thank you for the chance to win a spot!
ReplyDeleteI've not been terribly good at finding fresh ways to use the stamps I already have so would love to learn - I have bought a lot of stamps in the past & many have ended up being 'rehomed' without ever being used: I really want to change that & be more efficient both in terms of purchases & resources/materials.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance of winning a class.
Paula (PEP)
I am currently on a spending freeze, so using the many stamps I already own is the theme of my summer. (Ok, so I bought a few summery new stamps to celebrate my favorite season…but, I'm not buying anything else for a long time! LOL!) I do not buy frivolously, however…I only buy what I truly love! And I have learned the hard way that loving one stamp in a set does not justify (for me) buying the whole set. I am usually patient and a list maker (and re-maker) and then I buy the things I truly love.
ReplyDeleteGuilty! Who can resist all the new goodies, but it is fun and satisfying to find new ways to use old stamps! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI have collected quite a few stamps and need to purge some, but have a hard time parting with even the outdated ones--is it like fashion and they will come back in style? I do try to find varied uses for them and am getting better at it, but do not feel the most creative so it's often a challenge for me.
ReplyDeleteIt's always great to get tips on how to make the most of your stamps. Looking forward to this class
ReplyDeleteI wish I could contain myself when I see new stamps and not buy them - I just know I could do more with what I already have, but...
ReplyDeleteI do both, and often use old stamps with new ones. I do love these online classes with so many great ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love buy new stamps, but due to financial reasons I have been convincing myself of the merits of using what I have.
ReplyDeleteI tend to buy a lot of new stamps. I need to be better about using the stamps I already own because I'm running out of space for the ones I already own.
ReplyDeleteI buy lots and lots of new stamps. Would love to win a spot in the class to learn how to use the ones I've got in different ways. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteA combination of both-- love getting new stamps and love finding new ways to use the ones I already have. This class sounds awesome, thanks for the chance to win!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm already signed up for this class, and can't wait for it to start!
ReplyDeleteHi there!!! I would love to win a spot to this class so thanks for the chance to win. To answer your question, I usually buy new! See why I need to take this class, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteRight now money is tight so I am unable to buy any new stamps but I own a ton so this class would be perfect for me. Thanks for the chance to win a spot :)
ReplyDeleteSadly, I just keep buying new stamps. That is why I need this class desperately!!!
