An Idea in Yellow

Above is the inspiration photo for this week's Tuesday Trigger, "An Idea in Yellow."

I was feeling a bit experimental this evening, so I went with a literal translation and tried to copy the design of the doors. This was so tricky! I like (not love) how it came out....but that's what experimentation is for! I would have never known if I didn't try. Here's the finished card:

(I stamped the damask pattern on the inside of the card so it would be revealed through the windows)

  2. This is incredible! I love the dimension to the door panels, and that gorgeous damask pattern mimicking the leaves beyond the door. I can sense a trigger target badge coming your way tomorrow :)

  9. Jennifer, it's a perfect card for the challenge! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am finding more and more crafters in Massachusetts each week - it's so exciting to know there are more people out there who love paper crafting as much as I do. :)
