A while ago I stumbled upon a cool embossing folder- a map of the world. I bought it, stashed it away, and then forgot about it until last night! Once my watercolor paper was all embossed, it was easy to just paint each of the continents. I let my watercolor pool up and play around on the surface of the paper so that when it dried I'd have those cool water marks. I just love how that looks!
My sentiment is from Altenew- some folks have asked why we spelled "favourite" with a "u." Well, the rest of the stamp set includes the Sydney skyline, and that's how they spell it in Australia! Other countries spell it that way too, and I hope they appreciate that they finally have a sentiment without the American spelling :)
edited to add: After I posted this, I thought my card looked a bit familiar. Then I remembered Miriam's awesome card here. I didn't CASE her intentionally, but I guess it just kind of happened! Hope you don't mind, Miriam!
drop dead gorgeous. the end.
