This time, the theme is "Masculine," and I'm sharing a manly Christmas card. (haha...can a Christmas card really be manly?)
I've had those acrylic letters in my stash for about a year, and I was happy to finally use them. (I hope the card is still masculine even though it has stitching. I figure the wood and twine make up for that....)
Last weekend I picked up this cool wood paper, and I tried die cutting it. Sadly, it didn't really work, but I was pleased to see that it debossed the wood instead. Even cooler than if it cut all the way through!

Love the white and Kraft combo Jen! The big bold sentiment is so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove the debossed look on that ornament, especially paired with those clear letters.
ReplyDeleteI've had pretty good luck die cutting the thinnest wood paper they sell at Ink About it -- it can even be embossed. I haven't done as much with the heavier stuff, except make album covers and break Martha Stewart punches.
I love how you did the stitching on the letters. I also really like how the ornament looks wooden. Wonderful card!
ReplyDeletePretty-manly.
