ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm assuming you know of the piano improvising books of the same title, "Pattern Play," by Forest & Akiko Kinney. I use their ideas every day in my piano studio, and I think you could use them in the classroom, too.
i have so much patterned paper i could make cards for years. would love to find ways to use it and make cards for charity auctions and the local retirement community. i just never feel comfortable with how to mix the patterns and end up with plain backgrounds.
