I'm back this morning for 2 challenges....colourQ and the Moxie Fab World's Chevron Chic. Guess what I made my chevron pattern with...
Yep- embroidery floss! Am I a one-trick pony or what?!
I first drew the chevron pattern with pencil. To make a point with as little waste of the floss as possible, I made a French knot on the backside so I could come back up through the same hole. Here's what the back looked like before I adhered it to the card (warning- not pretty!):
I don't care if you used floss on every single card you ever made from this day forward as long as they all look as AMAZING as this! I have so much love for this card!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it....soooo very clever...great combo of challenges!
ReplyDeleteCute card, Jen! What a fun way to make Chevrons. Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ again this week.
ReplyDeleteThis is super fabulous! So clever to stitch the chevrons this way, and it works beautifully with this color combo. Thanks for playing at the ColourQ this week!
ReplyDeleteWow what patience, this must have taken ages. Very effective though. x

ReplyDeleteLove those colors and the shallow zig zags!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you are predictable or a one trick pony. This an awesome card and the color combination is so perfect for this design.
