This week's challenge for Make it Mondays is to add color to non-neutral cardstock. Although most people will use Copics, you guys know I don't have them. Instead, I applied watercolors to purple cardstock.
It worked great, except as the paper got saturated with water, my floral outline faded. No biggie- I just traced over the lines with a super fine black marker. Fixed!
Other features include little black pearls in the center of the flower, and 3 pieces of embroidery floss across the bottom.
I used the colors for this week's colourQ...so pretty!

ReplyDeleteLovely card! And THANKS for showing non-Copic colouring techniques for those of us who haven't yet gone over to the 'dark side'. LOL Although I might be persuaded if I ever WIN a stash of Copics! ;-)
