(since butterflies are found in the sky, I'm entering this card over at CAS-ual Fridays)
The butterflies were die cut from vellum, and I dabbed ink on the backside to color them before gluing to the card:

I made it out of white cardstock, and embossed a butterfly on the front with the die. You might be able to see that detail better in the direct-light photo below:
