Oh my, I cannot believe it. Pinch me! I was asked to take part in the 2014 Hero Arts Catalog Blog Hop! However, the coolness doesn't stop there- I actually contributed to the catalog as well! :) I feel so honored to be in there with the "greats."
Hopefully you arrived from the amazing Julie Ebersole's blog....I'll bet she just wowed you! I'm going to share my video first, and if you don't have time to watch it you can scroll right on down to the cards.
(you can view the video in HD on YouTube)
The first card uses the new set called "Yay," which is probably my favorite of the bunch! I can already tell that I'll be grabbing this set a lot as my go-to for congrats cards. I started by watercoloring the background, then stamped the sentiments in grey. I made sure to leave some room for the black "congrats."
Kind of impossible to see above- there is some Wink of Stella on the black strip!
The second card features a fully watercolored background, which I let dry and stamped the fun "Zebra Print" on top. The sentiment ("Wild and Crazy") is heat embossed onto vellum, and 3D mounted to the front of the card:
I'm not sure which card I prefer! hehe.
***Giveaway***
Hero Arts will be giving away several prize packs, with winners randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Sunday, December 22
Your next stop is the wonderful Stephanie Klauck. Remember- if you find a link that doesn't work, you can always hop back to the Hero Arts Blog for a list of direct links to all the blogs in the hop.
