Thank goodness for the extra hour we gain tonight...I had time to make another card inspired by Kristina's Holiday Card Series!  This one is based on her Day 2 card.

I kind of copied it....ummm...kind of exactly (hope you don't mind, Kristina!).  And I cannot even take credit for the inking technique- I recently saw Jennifer do it.  I felt bad just leaving it at that, since I used zero of my own creativity.  So, I made another- similar idea, but at least it's somewhat different:

AEI♥U

Today I am joining in for Avery Elle's AEI♥U Challenge- to use this sweet sketch by Nina:

Of course I had to use Nina's tag die on my card! :)

(I'm also linking this up to the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp)

I placed a piece of vellum over the tag to soften the look, and 3D mounted it so that some of the red I placed beneath could show through. (I colored white cardstock with a red marker, and also colored white cotton string with the same marker so they would match) 

I love that the colors make it perfect for a Christmas card, without it having to actually say "Merry Christmas."
