ReplyDeleteI did try some watercoloiring on my card, both for colouring an image and for creating a background with the iron- off embossing technique ( for the last OCC class). I'm already signed up for this new class and cannot wait to get started.

ReplyDeleteAfter seeing Laura Bassen do a watercolor card for another OCC, I was hooked! I use Tim Holtz's distress inks and some cheap Michael's water color paper. I am a complete novice though and would love to learn more techniques!

ReplyDeleteI have used waterolouring for making cards but only in a very limited way, I'd love to know more & to be able to do justice to the lovely watercolour materials I already own. I've tried acrylics but am much much happier using watercolour media. There's a creative fluidity about them which seems to appeal to my nature. ReplyDeleteI have done projects where I've used Distress Stains and Distress and Stampin' Up! dye inks to do some watercolor effects on a scrapbook layout. I have used Distress inks as a watercolor but have never used actual watercolor paint.
