CSS Review Day 6

Today Clear and Simple Stamps is celebrating Day 6 of the Release in Review.  I made a fun card and gift card box/holder using the Well Preserved stamps and dies from Collection 5:

(a little washi-crazy....sorry, I couldn't help myself!)

I can't get enough of that crayon box die- it's the perfect size for so many uses!

Thanks so much for dropping in!  I'll probably be back soon with more Christmas cards :)

CSS Review Day 4

Good morning, and welcome to Day 4 of the Clear and Simple Stamps release in review!  Today is all about the rag dolls/accessories.

I just love the cute backpack die that was released, and I decided to make a cute purse box out of it.

I wanted something to go with it, so I also made a mini card:

I'm continuing to make Christmas cards for my mom. and I'm continuing to gain inspiration from Kristina.  This one is inspired by day 7:

I have been loving the Christmas cards lately! And I'm SO glad I'm getting them done earlier than usual :)

Good Morning!  Today I am happy to share the next Runway Inspired Challenge!

Oh my...that purse is hilarious, isn't it?!?  I believe it's a beach bag big enough for everything you take with you.  Even so...it looks so out of proportion!  I thought there were a lot of cool design elements that you could use to inspire your creation.

I was inspired by the black circular handle, the stripes in the soles of her shoes, and the black/white/red colors.

I took this photo on a mirror-y placemat- is the reflection cool or distracting? I couldn't decide.

I was also inspired by Kristina's day 8 card (circle, "joy," simple color scheme).

We have a prize from Simon Says Stamp and some great samples from the DT. Hope you can play along!

CSS Review Day 2 (and a painting!)

Clear and Simple Stamps is having their Release in Review for Collection 5, and today's focus is the holidays!

I know my project is now out-of-season, but I actually made these a little over a week ago and gave them to my friends at work for Halloween.  I love sending candy through inter-office mail :)

I stuffed those bags as full as I could get 'em...they were practically bursting at the seams!

On a side note, I am SO happy that I actually had time to paint this weekend.  It's one of those things that's always on my to-do list, but I don't often get to it.
Here are the participating designers for today:
