Young Crafters Unite!

(Looking for the My Thoughts Exactly release hop? Scroll down to my previous post!)

Today is the Young Crafters Unite blog hop! If you came here from KIM HUGHES, you are on the right track. The hop "officially" starts at noon CST, so head on over to Young Crafters Unite to start at the beginning.

I was so excited when I saw that Britta and Marie were hosting this event- like them, I am a crafter in my 20s, which seems to be a bit rare in this industry!

For me, my age, attitude, and style make me a "young crafter." I only hope that as I get older, I continue to think and act young!!

My project below exemplifies the hop theme of "favorite things." Here's the rundown:
1. Embroidery Floss. You know it, I know it- it's definitely a favorite of mine!
2. White. (and white on white....even better!)
3. CAS (that goes with the above, huh?)
4. DT/Challenges. Pretty much all the cards I make are for the DTs I am on, or for challenges!! This one is for the amazing OTWC challenge, and uses a new stamp ("wishing you a") from MTE :)
(sorry for all of the acronyms....)

Please hop along and comment. The list is long, but I guarantee you will be inspired, and you'll have the chance to win some awesome prizes.

Next stop is STEPHANIE. Have fun!!

  3. Really love what you've been doing with embroidery floss.

And while younger crafters may seem rare, I think they're driving the industry more than ever.I'm finally into my 30s, but I started stamping at 20 and I would've loved to have something like Lawn Fawn or Studio Calico back then.
