Karen's Super-Amazing Birthday Blog Hop Party Extravaganza!

Good morning, and welcome to the party! Today we are celebrating a very special occasion- the birthday of the on and only Karen! Karen is the sweetest when it comes to commenting on the blogs of others, organizing fun things for her crafty friends (like her carbon copied posts), and of course she is an amazingly talented card maker! I first started following her last year when she made Gallery Idol- and I was instantly hooked. I only wish I had "discovered" her sooner :)

Now, onto the festivities. You may have gotten here via (the also fabulous) Aimes- if not you can start the hop from the beginning. If you get lost, here's a list of those of us partying today:

Of course I had to bring a card for Karen to the party. I was actually inspired by this awesome card she made a few weeks ago. I'm loving the nice big circle cutout with the image inside. Here's what I made:

(Color combo taken from the PDCC103)

I also wanted to bring something for us to snack on, so I made pumpkin bread!
(haha, they look radioactive on that bright green plate!)

I hope you have fun partying with us today, and make sure to leave an extra sweet birthday message for Karen. I also think Erin deserves a super big thanks for organizing the party!

I think I read somewhere that radioactive pumpkin bread has zero calories, so I think it's safe to indulge. *wink* Besides, it looks absolutely delicious!

  8. Fabulous card, I liked Karen's card before and this is a great CASE of it, and I love that you left the butterfly b&w because it really makes the floss stand out (and of course you'd use floss!). Pumpkin bread, my favorite!!! Thank you for joining us in this fun birthday celebration.
