Using the sketch from 2S4Y, I made a fun card to give to a friend. I used some photo booth style pictures I took of myself a week or 2 ago, and incorporated the panel into the design. I hope it will bring a smile to someone's face!

The Embellish challenge this time around is to use kraft, green, and black, as well as butterflies on a project. I wanted to keep my card simple, but detailed (hmm...two opposites!). I die cut a bunch of butterflies, yet kept it white-on-white to prevent things from getting too busy. I stamped the sentiment in a light mossy green, and matted it all with kraft on a black card base. Here is the result:I think my favorite part was gluing on all of those butterflies!

I did the hand cut flowers again, much like the ones I did recently on this card. Looking back at these pics now, I just wish I had printed out the sentiment in black instead of grey...it's a little tough to see.
I really loved using this layout from Caardvarks. I wanted to keep most of the card pretty simple to draw more focus to the layered paper flower. Thanks for checking it out!

I had been meaning to make a card for a coworker's baby shower, and I finally got around to it! I used this week's sketch from 2S4Y, and kept the colors simple and soft:
I really like how it came out, but have one regret- not painting on watercolor paper. My poor white cardstock buckled a bit from the paint. Oh well- I know better for next time!
I love making cards with dimension!! The only problem is getting them into the envelope :)
