Watercolor Class Giveaway!!



I am SUPER excited to share this news....and maybe you have already heard...I am teaching an Online Card Class with Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner!!  I have often joined them as a guest, but it has been amazing to have the opportunity to help plan and implement the class as a teacher.  I am so grateful for this opportunity!!

  4. I have used watercolor before... but I never finished my card for some reason. Still have the backgrounds I made, unmounted to a card base. I just signed up for class. I'm taking it whether I win or not.

  7. I have used water color on projects before but not that successfully. I even took a watercolor class in college. LOVED it but I am not an artist at all. It is so much fun to play with though!!

  14. I did try some watercoloiring on my card, both for colouring an image and for creating a background with the iron- off embossing technique ( for the last OCC class). I'm already signed up for this new class and cannot wait to get started.

  15. Yes, I TRY to use watercolor on my projects, but it often gets MUDDY...very frustrating! This class is just the ticket! Glad to see you are one of the teachers!

As about my previous experiences with water colour, I don't have much. I do paint, a lot even, but am not a fan of watercolour in paintings. But I do like it on cards.   23. I am loving all the cards around at the moment using water colouring, such a fabulous medium and yes I have tried my hand at a few techniques on cards ( varying good and bad success) so would deff love to win a spot.

  27. Watercolouring on cards is my favourite technique. I have so many mediums, inktense pencils, watercolour paints, silks, H2O's, distress inks and more. I loveo stamp and colour

  28. I'd say about 90% of my cards have some kind of watercoloring! I love it but I've like to expand and go out of my comfort zone. I am so excited for class.

  34. After seeing Laura Bassen do a watercolor card for another OCC, I was hooked! I use Tim Holtz's distress inks and some cheap Michael's water color paper. I am a complete novice though and would love to learn more techniques!

  36. How cool does that sound!? How exciting is that!! I have actually not used any watercolor on my projects because I have been a little intimidated. I actually just bought my first set of watercolors a few days ago an I've just been staring at it lol!

  44. I have used waterolouring for making cards but only in a very limited way, I'd love to know more & to be able to do justice to the lovely watercolour materials I already own. I've tried acrylics but am much much happier using watercolour media. There's a creative fluidity about them which seems to appeal to my nature.   53. Oh Jennifer I just heard you were going to be a teacher! I love the couple of OCC classes I have taken and this sounds just perfect! I have used watercolor on cards before but not in the classic way - just in my cardmaker make-it-work kind of way. I'd love to learn more from you ladies.

  74. I loved your video! What a magical process to watch unfold!
    I have done projects where I've used Distress Stains and Distress and Stampin' Up! dye inks to do some watercolor effects on a scrapbook layout. I love painting, just don't always feel confident in my color choices. Thanks so much for sharing your video and for the chance to win a spot and hopefully learn more about watercoloring!
