Today I have one more card to share for this week's challenge at CASE study. I know I mentioned before, but I think that CASEing other challenge participants is an amazing idea! I've really had a lot of fun this week.
Last night I made a CASE of an adorable card by Sian Ridley. You can find her original post here. Check out her awesome card:
I die cut some birch trees in different colors, and adhered them with foam tape to my card. I pretty much copied all of the other details (hope you don't mind, Sian!):
Hitting two of my weak spots with this beauty, Jennifer! Love the rainbow and *adore* your trees! They remind me of fun times on Gallery Idol :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in the fun on CASE study this week!
Hugs,
Aimes

Oh my goodness! Well, I don't know what to say!??? I just stopped by to thank you for your kind words and what did I find....my card! That was a surprise - I'm quite overwhelmed!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI never in a million years thought anyone would CASE me - least of all someone of your calibre! It's like Gucci getting design ideas from a supermarket! Wow!
I did the same as you actually, the card I posted was the second design of yours I'd CASE'd! I chose one and made the card and then re-read the rules and figured it should probably have been a CASE Study entry, so chose another one! I'll maybe post the other one soon. I was a bit reluctant to post either actually because I don't feel they've done your work justice, but your kind words have certainly helped :)
I think I actually like your CASE more than my card! Ha ha!
Thank you so much for CASE-ing me, I'm feeling very honoured and I'm still in shock! Thank you also for the blog traffic, I already have had someone look at my blog because of this post!
Oh, before I forget, CONGRATULATIONS! I loved the Young Crafters Unite blog hop and I'm so glad they're running challenges - I'll be there! If you're involved too then that means it'll be a real corker :)
Sorry about the essay!
Love the colourful trees! Simple with great impact!
ReplyDeleteLove this card Miss Lady!!! Congrats on the new DT gig too!!

ReplyDeleterainbow birch trees = pure bliss:)
ReplyDeleteTotally love it! The rainbow trees are swoon-worthy. :)
ReplyDeleteSo absolutely gorgeous! I just LOVE color!
ReplyDeleteWow, your card is a stunner!! I love that you popped up your trees, so that they cast shadows behind... genius!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Case study mention with this fabulous take. Love those trees, wouldn't life always be happy if there were rainbow trees?
ReplyDeleteBlow me away with those trees! Gorgeous concept and and execution. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good CASE of Sian's card. I like those tree die cuts! THey are really neat.
ReplyDeleteWhat die did you use for those trees? Or, I'm sure you used an electronic cutter... Did you use Cricut or Silhouette? If Cricut, what cartridge?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Wow. Wow. WOW!
