a one-of-a-kind birthday

Short post before bedtime....
I made this card very quickly to make sure I had time to link it up for the OTWC challenge. I'm a little disappointed that it didn't end up the way I had imagined, but it's still a fun, colorful card. I stitched around the sentiment sloppily (on purpose!) in yellow, red, and green thread. A quick ribbon and button finish it off.

The layout was loosely inspired by this CPS sketch:

  1. Love your stitching and that you used all three colors to do it. Thanks so much for playing along at OTWC.

  2. This is fun, I've got 2 versions for this color challenge and I'm struggling with both cards....

  3. This is a wonderful CAS card and I really liked how it turned out! So happy you played along with us this week at OTWC and Good luck! :-)

  4. This is a fabulous CAS card!! I love the messy stitching, and the bright ribbon & button!! Thanks for joining us at the CPS Sketch Blog this week!! ♥♥♥
