I knew right away that I wanted a strip of fabric along the left-hand side of the card. I chose a fun print from my stash, and sewed it on with a zigzag stitch, like on the book cover! Next I saw the cute pillow on the couch in the pic. I used the same repeated circles on my card, and voila- an inspired project!

I love the circles, Jen! I started out that way believe it or not, but the card had a mind of it's own. I love how you used them. The zig-zag stitch is a nice touch and that's a fun combination of colors. Great clean simple card!

ReplyDeleteWonderful job on this challenge, Jen! Love the way you used the fabric on the left side and the circle pattern is the perfect accompaniment.
